Leadership Development Committee Annual Reports
LDC sets ambitious goals for developing future leaders
In March 2018, the Board of Directors approved a motion to establish a Leadership Development Committee (LDC) to intentionally identify, cultivate, recruit, and orient, competent and diverse volunteer leaders for board and committee positions that are responsive to the current and future needs of CEC. The LDC’s ultimate goal is to Identify, nurture and develop leadership potential and skills in emerging leaders to serve in positions across the organization. The committee began its work in May 2018.
One of the ways the LDC is accountable to the board is through measuring and annually reporting the results of efforts to engage members of diverse groups in leadership development and appointment to leadership positions. Read the 2018-19 Annual Report here.
