Webinars will help participants understand the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in writing, identify typical writing difficulties of students with learning disabilities, select and deliver appropriate research-based interventions, and monitor academic writing progress.

  • Describe, use, and differentiate the SRSD method of writing strategies instruction.
  • Assess and score students’ writing using CBM, including accessing free online resources and materials.
  • Identify grade-level writing expectations in the K-12 CCSS that may present difficulty for students with learning disabilities, as well as select and implement research-based interventions.
